Cloning

Hey guys,

just wondering what you guys view on cloning is. for anyone that fell asleep during their senior bioligy lab, cloning is asexually ( reproduction not involving meiosis, ploidy, reduction, or fertilazation) reproducing stuff.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloning) what im talking about is human cloning not plant cloning.

Not to be offensive, but ..... is this supposed to be in the "Biblical" debate?

what im saying, do you people think its a sin? that makes it a christian debate

i mean my view is that its puting yourself in the place of god, which makes it a sin, but i wanted to see what other christains thought of it. although your right, i should have put this in the normal debate category, sorry.

come on people, surely at least some of you know what cloning is and can debate it.

My question is what would be the point of cloning people other than being able to say you did? Having 2 of one person does nothing to help advance our current science. The only thing that I can think of which could be of assisstance, which leads to a whole different ethical or unethical discussion, which is the cloning of humans solely for the farming of organs.
